The Veterinary Medical Center (VMC) team enjoys getting involved in their community, like participating in their annual All Paws for a Cause Walk! As an event sponsor, the VMC team came together with their furry friends to help raise donations and walk alongside community members to show their support for providing women in their community access to free lifesaving breast and cervical cancer screenings.

For the second year in a row, teams from across the Blue River PetCare community participated in Not One More Vet’s 2023 Race Around the World event to help raise awareness around National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and NOMV’s mission. Nearly 400 of our fellow teammates showed their support by running, hiking, horseback riding, and more!

The Blue River team spent a fun-filled day in Chicago for a team bonding event called ‘Kick-nic.’ Team members enjoyed a picnic and some friendly competition during the kickball tournament. Congratulations to Team Navy for taking home the win!

Blue River PetCare teams across the country came together during National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month to participate in Not One More Vet’s 2022 Race Around the World event, raising awareness around NOMV’s mission and suicide prevention in the veterinary industry. Together, our teams across the country walked, ran, and biked over 29,255 miles!

One of the Blue River team’s favorite activities is to participate in local races, like Chicago’s Annual Shamrock Shuffle. Once the weather has warmed up, team members lace up their sneakers to run, jog, or walk alongside fellow Chicagoans.

Clinical team members from across the greater Houston area got together for a day of fun at the Houston Zoo. The hospital teams spent the afternoon immersed with the exotic animals while also attending CE sessions to enhance their careers. 

Active members of their local community, St. Francis Animal Hospital is proud to be the official sponsor of the Fredericksburg Nationals’ Bark in the Park nights. Two nights a year, baseball fans can bring their canine friends to cheer on the Fredericksburg Nationals and get to know the St. Francis veterinary team – and sometimes you can even find St. Francis’ practice manager, Keri, throwing out the first pitch!

A community tradition at Noah’s Ark Animal Clinic is to march in their local St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The team also hosts a watch party on the front lawn of the practice so their clients and patients can hang out with the team while enjoying snacks & prizes as they watch the parade pass by.

Participating in the Mutt March is an annual tradition for Moore Veterinary Hospital. Hosted by the Michigan Humane Society, the event consists of community members walking their four-legged friends and raising money for the humane society. The team loves supporting their community in other events throughout the year too, such as 4Paws1Heart fundraisers and more!
